mental math
So I was one of those kids. You know, I hated math and had myself convinced I was awful at it. But truth be told, I just wasn't trying. It wasn't until high school and later in college when I realized that I was very good at math when I wanted to be. But early on I had grown so accustomed to "showing my work" and using calculators that I had basically handicapped my brain.
I was homeschooled for eleven years and that being the case I had lots of opportunity to learn beyond a classroom setting's offering. I wish that I had been introduced to this amazing program then. It teaches somany tips and tricks to help you domath in your head and breaks your dependency on calculators. It's not for adults only;it's a program that.can be and SHOULD be introduced early on. I have included the link below because I strongly suggest and hope you find it as helpful and useful as I did!!
